Askja
The first and the largest item in the collection ROOTS is Askja. Askja means box or caldera in Icelandic. It is a light-weight storage solution for magazines or logs. Askja is inspired by a caldera situated in a remote part of the central highlands of Iceland.
Dögg goes back to roots in Iceland and uses the shape of the mountains, cracked ice or dried sand as an inspiration for the shape of her new series.
